Book 1: The kid who came from space
Hello, My name is Vihaan Bhat and I am 11 years old."I am writing my first book review."
It is about the book "The Kid Who Came from Space". I borrowed it from a library. The book is written by Ross Welford in the year 2020. It has 360 pages of story and 7 pages of inside cover and acknowledgements. It has 4 parts and 79 chapters- Part One{Chapters 1 to 14}, Part Two-Hellyann's Story{Chapters 15 to 28}, Part Three{Chapters 29 to 56}, Part Four{Chapters 57- 79}. Below the chapter names, the speaker's name is mentioned.
In the book, the story revolves around Tamara 'Tammy' Tait, a 12-year-old girl who goes missing from the village of Kielder in Northumberland on Christmas Eve. Tammy's brother Ethan and his friend Ignatius Fox-Templeton, known as Iggy for short, meet an alien named Hellyann. Hellyann tells them a strange story about herself and requests that they hide her and not tell anyone if they want Tammy back.
Hellyann then reveals that Tammy has become a human exhibit on their planet, Anthalla. Their planet has a special earth zone dedicated to preserving humans for learning purposes. According to Hellyann, the Anthallans have lost the ability to express emotions such as smiling, laughing, and crying. They rely solely on facts.
Ethan convinces Gran to believe Hellyann's story, even though the others do not. However, the Geoff family discovers this and decides to capture Hellyann. After a comical escape, Ethan, Iggy, his chicken, and Hellyann board a spaceship and travel to Anthalla to rescue Tammy.
After a long journey across space, they reach Anthalla with a robot Philip. Hellyann and Iggy are caught and taken away as they are seen. Ethan escapes and. Then he finds Tammy in a museum as an exhibit. He sees that there is a human show with Tammy and Iggy. Ethan manages to escape with them. Then all rush to the spaceship but Hellyann passes away and doesn't make it. They reach Earth and don't say anything.
This is a very nice story and I recommend you to read it.
Thanks for Reading
